Who can be TORF member?

Any organization that operates an online rummy business or provides technical, marketing, legal or other services to rummy operators is eligible for TORF membership. In addition, policy makers, individuals, rummy experts and enthusiasts can also apply for TORF membership. TORF has the sole right to accept or reject any application for membership.

Can I become an individual member of TORF?

Yes, if you are a game enthusiast, student, social activist or game blogger, and are of 18 years and above. You can participate in the events organized by TORF, be active on our social media platforms and can subscribe to our newsletters.

How to become a member?

How to get TORF accreditation?

TORF accreditation is provided when an eligible applicant meets the prescribed standards as per TORFS. The applicant will be given six-months’ time to comply with TORFS and any revisions made thereto.

What are the key rummy rules?

Here’re the basic rummy rules to help you understand the 13 card game.

Online rummy is played between 2 to 6 players. Rummy is played either with a set number of deals or a target score, both of which is agreed upon at the start of the game. Two standard decks of 52 cards is used and each player is dealt with 13 cards. The objective of the game is to arrange all 13 cards in sequences and/or sets with at least one Pure Sequence. A Joker (randomly selected at the start of each game) can be used in the place of any other card. You can use one or more Jokers to complete/fill your sets and sequences. A Pure Sequence is a sequence without a Joker.
